Paid to Pivot is operated by Bored Monkey LLC (doing business as Paid to Pivot) ("we," "us," "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of the Paid to Pivot course and the website at paidtopivot.com (the "Service"). By purchasing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the Service.

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use the Service. By buying, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. What you're buying

Paid to Pivot is a self-paced digital course — audio lessons delivered as a private podcast feed, plus worksheets, exercises, lesson cards, and tools delivered through an online member portal. Founding buyers receive lifetime access to the course and its future updates at no additional cost. "Lifetime" means for as long as we continue to operate the Service.

We may add, update, or reorganize course content over time. We are not obligated to maintain any specific lesson, format, or feature indefinitely.

3. Your account and access

Access is tied to the email address you purchase with. You log in with a one-time link sent to that email — there is no password. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure.

Your private podcast feed and your portal login are personal to you. Do not share your feed URL, login link, or account access with anyone else.

4. License and acceptable use

When you purchase, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the course materials for your own personal, non-commercial career development.

You may not:

• Share, distribute, resell, sublicense, or publicly post the course materials, audio files, worksheets, tools, or your private feed URL.
• Copy or reproduce the materials except for your own personal use.
• Use the materials to build or train a competing product, or to create a competing course.
• Circumvent any access controls, or access the Service in a way that isn't expressly permitted.

All course content — audio, written materials, worksheets, tools, designs, and the "Paid to Pivot" name and branding — is owned by Bored Monkey LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. We keep all rights not expressly granted to you.

5. Pricing and payment

Prices are listed at checkout. Founding pricing is $147; standard pricing is $297. Payment is processed by Stripe; by purchasing, you authorize the charge and agree to Stripe's terms. You are responsible for any applicable taxes. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect purchases already completed.

6. Refunds

Purchases are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In short: all sales are final, with a completion-based guarantee — see the Refund Policy for the full terms and how to request a refund.

7. Results disclaimer

Paid to Pivot teaches a system for changing careers. We do not guarantee any particular result — including any job, promotion, salary, raise, or income outcome.

Any examples, case studies, figures, or stories we share (including the creator's own pivots, raises, and earnings) describe specific individual experiences. They are not typical, not promises, and not a guarantee that you will achieve the same or similar results. Your outcome depends on many factors outside our control, including your own effort, background, market conditions, and decisions. You are solely responsible for your career and financial choices.

8. No professional advice

The Service is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not legal, financial, tax, career-counseling, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Decisions you make based on the course are your own.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bored Monkey LLC and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, income, or data, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the course.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms — including sharing your access, redistributing materials, or abusing the refund or chargeback process. If we terminate your access for a violation, you are not entitled to a refund. You may stop using the Service at any time.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will apply going forward; your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at info@paidtopivot.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Any dispute that can't be resolved that way will be handled in the state or federal courts located in South Carolina, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
